The Trinity

June 22nd, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Anthony Smith The Trinity of Scripture is a controversial subject among many in the Christian Community. I would estimate that (90% of the Christian Community believes in the Trinity.) What is the Trinity? The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost(Spirit). We all know about the Father and The Son. So lets look at The Holy Ghost. The Bible calls Him by many different names, 1. The Holy Ghost. The Bible in the New Testament, list the Name of Holy Ghost 89 times, starting with, Matthew 1:18 and ending with, Jude 1:20 2. The Holy Spirit. 10 times beginning with, Luke 11:13 and ending with, 1Thessalonians 4:8. 3. The Spirit of truth. 4 times, John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13 and 1John 4:6. 4. The Comforter. 3 Times John 14:26, 15:26 and 16:7. This is not to say that other examples are not listed but these others are spiritually discerned. The Most controversial scripture in the Bible concerning the Trinity is found in, Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded the disciples to; Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. In this verse above all others, are the four words that has brought about this controversy; in the name of Many teach that there is not a Trinity because of these four words. They believe that these words signify a separation of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I reject this teaching because of the multitudes of other verses that concur with the Trinity. What many don’t understand is that The Holy Ghost(i.e. Spirit) is the Spirit of God. So how can God be separate from His own Spirit. Jesus gave us the answer to this when He stated in Matthew 10:20, For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. This spirit that He spoke of was the Holy Spirit, The Spirit of your Father. 1Th 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his Holy Spirit. Jesus stated that He was in the Father and the Father was in Him and He and the Father were one, so How being that Jesus and the Father being one disavows the Holy Spirit being one also with Jesus and the Father, making up the Trinity? We as human beings cannot separate our spirit from ourselves for the spirit within us is who we are. The Body is dead without the spirit. So there fore, God cannot be without His spirit, for God is spirit.Lets look at Numbers 6:26, The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Countenance is; to give assurance or courage to; to support; to aid by favor; to prevent from shame or dismay, to support; to encourage; to abet; to vindicate; by any means. Literally, the contents of a body; the outline and extent which constitutes the whole figure or external appearance. Appropriately, the human face; the whole form of the face, or system of features; visage. This is only done thru the Baptism in The Holy Ghost. As Jesus promised in, 1. John 14:16 Tells us that the Comforter, abides with you for ever.Denoting the Holy Ghost. 2. John 14:26 Tells us that the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost Replaced Jesus as the director of all truths in Scripture and in life., Who reminds us of all things Jesus taught. 3. John 15:26 Tells us that the Comforter proceeds (Comes From) from the Father(God), he(A Person) shall testify(To affirm or declare solemnly for the purpose of establishing a fact. To bear witness to; to support the truth of by testimony.) of me(Jesus): 4. Acts 8:15-17 Tells us how the Spirit of God is Received by the laying on of Hands. Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) (Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.) 5. Gal 3:1-4 Tells us that the Spirit of God is received by Faith and not works. O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.Acts 8:15-17 is showing us that the third part of the Trinity is vital to the salvation of man after the Baptism. We are indowed with three diferent spirits, 1. Our Soul Spirit.(Who we are.) 2. The Spirit of Christ(We have the Mind of Christ.) and 3. The Holy Spirit.(Ghost.Who takes controll of our Physical man and keeps him under bonds to Christ.) Act 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. So as far as an excuse to use Matthew 28:19, to say that there is no trinity, we see by compareing scripture with scripture we can prove that there is and always was and will be a Holy Trinity. (Refs. Mat-3:16, Mat-3:17; Gen-1:26; Num-6:24-27; Isa-48:16; 1Co-12:4-6; 2Co-13:14; Eph-2:18; 1Jo-5:7; Rev-1:4-6. end part 1. Part 2 will deal with, The Unholy Trinity. The Facts You Need To Know About Long Term Care

June 19th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sandy_Sizemore] Sandy Sizemore When most people think of long-term care, they think of someone in the golden years of their life, but an illness or accident can strike anyone of any age and make this a necessary part of their life. It isn’t easy for many people to admit they need help with their every day living, but for some, the simple task of eating becomes a chore. Another misconception is that long-term care means a stay in a nursing home or rehabilitation center, but this is not always the case. With the portability of medical equipment today, it is often preferred that patients remain in their own home if possible. Insurance companies prefer to pay for full-time home care instead of nursing home care, feeling that it is more cost effective and beneficial to the patient’s well being. Long-term care doesn’t even need to mean that the patient cannot do for himself or herself. It can mean simply a patient who has an ongoing condition that requires the services of a health care professional on a routine basis for things the patient is no longer able to do for him or herself. This can mean preparing and planning meals, care of personal hygiene, dressing, household chores including shopping and paperwork, and any medical needs. In addition to in-home and nursing home facilities, another type of long-term care facility is called assisted living. In this setting, the patient has his or her own apartment or quarters where the patient lives and tends to their needs as much as possible. However, the patient is close enough to the nursing home facility that someone is readily available to assist the patient whenever needed, thus the term, “assisted living.” This allows the patient some type of independence while giving them the assistance they need as well. Many people who become dependent on others feel like they are a burden, but with assisted living, help is there if it’s needed, and the patient is able to do the things for himself that he is able to do. Fortunately, the term long-term care has lost the stigma it used to have for patients, and they are now more receptive to accepting help when it is needed. This is likely due to the introduction of both the assisted living and the in-home nursing care that allows a patient to remain in the comfort of his home as long as possible. Even twenty years ago this was a “baby” to the medical field, but with the insurance companies pushing for less hospital time, and the patients wanting to hurry home from the hospital to tend to other family members, it has become commonplace. As the generation of middle-aged citizens enters their senior years, this practice will likely become more common. Long-term care is changing its face every day. Heartache Hurts - God Do You Hear

June 15th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Kacy Carr What is heartache? It is pain. There are two kinds of pain, one where you take a tumble, cut a finger or bump your head. This type of pain can be eased with the help of a band aid or ointments, but heartache is not an easy task to remedy. For a broken heart there is no cure I would say a great many of us has suffered heartache where we have endured pain over the kids family even work colleagues. This form of heartache is just a minor tremor to the earthquake of sorrow that forces it self on some people Take the mother who outlives her child, what could be more agonizing for mummy to be at the bedside of the baby she nurtured from birth only to have that child taken from her. Then we have the poor unfortunate heart broken fathers who lose their children all because mother thinks it is in the children’s best interest to be without a dad (In some cases this action is necessary) but for many dads who still want to be part of there children’s lives, I ask moms to think again for the kids sake. How many times has an engine been turned on with a hose to the exhaust which daddy uses as an inhaler to end it all, and in some sorry events taken the kids with him? The heartache when informed a loved one was killed in battle. It is painful when it is time to say goodbye to mum/dad, when they leave to make a new life in land beyond the sky. Lord hear the prayers of the world to put a stop to these 21st century atrocities that is causing so much heartache.Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, and Hurricanes, what on earth can you possibly have up your sleeve to spring on some poor country next? They say God works in mysterious ways and have his reasons. We understand you may not be happy with the sinners of today like the muggers and murderers walking the streets, but why on earth do the poor unfortunate innocent people have to suffer because of the actions of others. We need construction not destruction in our lives There is no turning the clock back as the damage is done, so many people have had there fair share of pain and suffering and it needs to stop. It would take a miracle to sort out this whole sorry mess that the world is in today. You gave focus to the blind you even rose from the dead, and we all know miracles are made in heaven. So we ask you God for the last time for one more miracle and that is to turn back the hand of time. Do not suffer in silence, talk to someone if you have had the misfortune of losing a loved one or traumatised by some of the worlds disasters. Are You Actually Trying To Profit From Your Marketing Efforts?

June 7th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Joseph Ratliff You will have a much harder time marketing your business with this mindset. Here is what I mean… Automotive shops as an example…use an oil change advertisement as a “lead in” service to offer in efforts to obtain new customers. Not a bad idea at all…except when you try to profit from the oil change. And many of them try to… How many times have you seen a coupon in the newspaper with an oil change priced above $10.00 as a “special price?” I have seen a few too many…and with the exception of diesel vehicles and specialty vehicles…this price point is trying to earn a minimal $1.00 in profits so the owner doesn’t feel bad giving the discount. Big mistake. See my earlier posts for focused articles on retaining the customers you do have, as that is the least expensive and most profitable form of marketing. But since this post focuses on new customer generation… We should be focused on one primary thought here… Lifetime Value of the customer. What is the value of a customer to your business over their entire buying cycle with you? How many referrals can your business earn from this customer? Using the example above… What if the automotive shop gave away their first three oil changes to a new customer? Most shop owners would cringe at the thought of losing the $50.00 in supplies and parts…and the total of $100.00 in labor over the three oil changes (at most). For a total of $150.00, you can cultivate a lifetime relationship with a customer by providing additional back - end services and products that will enhance the customer’s vehicles (keep paying attention internet marketers). And a lifetime automotive customer is worth a minimum of $3000.00 over a five year period to an automotive shop! So how many times would you like to trade $150.00 for $3000.00 in sales in your business? My questions to you and your business from this post…and my challenges to you…are: 1) What is your “oil change”? 2) How many of this valuable service are you willing to part with to gain critical new customers? 3) What back end services or products do you offer that can enhance a customer’s lives and start the profitable relationship with them? In my own internet copywriting business…I provide 5 hours of free consultation (valued at $1000.00) when a client chooses to use my copywriting services. And I provide a free website critique (Valued at $295.00) upfront…no matter if a client uses my services or not. That is my oil change. What part of your front end marketing efforts are you going to change TODAY? Joseph Ratliff is a professional marketing consultant, trainer, and speaker. Cover Materials

June 1st, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Ray Schuch Do you know what cover material to choose for your latex mattress? There are two good choices available today, Intense and Amicore Pure. What is Amicore Pure Bedding? Amicore Pure is bedding that helps relieve people that suffer from allergies and asthma. The energy efficient homes of today have been sealed tight for the energy conscious consumer. In these times every penny saved will probably be used to pay some energy bill. While keeping some energy dollars in our pocket, we may actually be providing an environment that increases a habitat for perhaps some of the most common allergens in our country today, odor causing bacteria and the dust mite, for many causing Asthma. Dust mites are in the same Arachnid family as the spider. They are oval shaped and too small to be seen with the naked eye. They just love to burro deep into fibers such as carpet and your mattress. Amicore fibers are injected with the active ingredient. This means that it is not simply sprayed on the outside where it is only a surface treatment. When in the fiber itself, a slow release provides a constant supply to the surface of the material that will last from wash to wash. Amicore Pure bedding keeps beds fresh, soft and pure. You can sleep better knowing that your mattress cover is helping you obtain a healthier sleep environment. Amicore has an organic material called Triclosan, Triclosan has safely been fighting bacteria in mouthwash and toothpaste for many years. This provides a freshness for the fiber wash after wash. Intense Cover Material. Have you ever touched something metal in the winter time and…Zap, you get shocked? That shock is a result of a build up of static electricity in your body. Do you know our bodies can store up to 30,000 volts! That build up can cause most anyone to have trouble sleeping. Studies were conducted on the effect of this build up of static. Intense works by lowering the voltage in the body. Subjects that slept on an Intense mattress slept better and needed approximately 20 minutes less. We feel nervous, agitated we are literally experiencing a feeling of tension. So it is important for the body to get rid of this tension and drop to the lowest possible voltage. And that is exactly how Intense works. The fibers of Intense material uses an ultra fine carbon thread. This filament contains a conductive core wrapped in a nylon envelope. This material captures the electrons nearby and releases them into the air at a lower voltage allowing tension to flow from the body. Just think of the deeper, more relaxing sleep you can enjoy on the Intense covered mattress or topper. You can find both Amocore Pure and Intense cover material at TheBedPro.com. Individual Cell Phone Plans

May 26th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Max_Bellamy]Max Bellamy There are many cell phone plans offered by cellular operators in America like AT&T, Sprint PCS, Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless, T-Mobile, and so on. To choose or not to choose an individual cell phone plan is totally dependent on the needs of an individual. The first thing to look for in an individual cell phone plan is to know exactly what you are looking for regarding your personal usage. Is it to mainly receive calls or do you intend to make many calls? This will determine whether you should go in for a pre-paid connection or for billing plans. Pre-paid plans are best for those who mostly receive calls. If you intend to make a lot of calls, a pre-paid plan can end up being extremely expensive since call and SMS rates for pre-paid calls are higher than billing plans. However, billing has a disadvantage over pre-paid, as it involves a lot of charges and fees. One will also need to sign a contract for using the plan for a specified amount of time. The other factor to be kept in mind while going in for an individual cell phone plan is the type of calls that are expected to be made with the cell phone. Will there be more local, national or international calls? Then one needs to check out the type of phone one is getting. Do you want added features like a camera or MP3 player? Cellular companies bundle other promotional offers like a free cellular phone or phone with camera, etc. Often one can get free accessories for the phone like a car charger or a data cable to connect with a computer. Every cellular phone company’s plan includes price, promotional offers, and free minutes. Depending upon one’s individual usage, one can find a number of cellular plans. However, individual cell phone plans are good for those who do not have a family. With family members, one can opt for a family wireless plan wherein the family members pay less for making calls. Can You File For Chapter 7 Bankruptcy?

May 17th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Nikola Govorko Most people file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy because of the three main reasons: 1. It is much faster then the other Chapters. With a little effort on your side, you can have the entire process over in next four to six months. 2. It is also simpler to file. No frequent visits to court are required. 3. There are no after payments. Once your bankruptcy is discharged that is it, you are debt free. (Under the 2005 bankruptcy law, not all debts can be discharged anymore so consult with your attorney before filling). On the other hand, Chapter 7 has a catch, the court will decide whether you are allowed to file for it or not. One of the main reasons why you can be denied to file for Chapter 7 is your income. If it happens to be sufficient to payoff some of your debts (after your allowed living expenses have been counted in) then you might be forced to file under Chapter 13 bankruptcy law. How to check if you can apply? First thing you need to do is to calculate your average earnings in the last 6 months and compare it with average income for the state you live in. You will be allowed to file under Chapter 7 if your income happens to be lover or the same as the median income of the state you live in. In case that your average income is higher than that, and you still want to apply for Chapter 7 bankruptcy you will have to go through one more test called the Means Test. So what is a means test? It is a test based on the results calculated for your allowed living expenses. How to calculate my living expenses and what can I include in it? It is actually quite easy to calculate it. Take all your income from one average month and deduct the following allowed expenses: 1) Utility bills, transport (gas), food, clothing. (Make sure to use IRS amounts for these or the court will not take it in to account). 2) Your secured monthly payments like child support, car loan, mortgage and tax. After you finish with the calculation and your average disposable income per month is lover then $100, you have passed the means test and you stand a fair chance of being approved to file for bankruptcy under Chapter 7. If on the other hand your disposable income happens to be more than that (figure most often mentioned is $166, but it can vary), you will most likely have to file under Chapter 13 of the bankruptcy law. That is unless you can provide evidence that there are some special considerations to be taken in your account. For any figures between $100 and $166, it is best to consult with your attorney. Make sure to find an attorney that specialize in bankruptcy and credit repair and has the solid reputation. http://www.Debt-Free-Family.com is dedicated to help you live and debt free life. Trapped by Lies?

May 14th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Stan Lewis As a Christian Life Coach and a policeman, one of the worst villains to me is the Con-man. I have seen the hurt and pain brought about by such despicable people. Yet these Con-men are so slick at what they do, that many people do not realize that they are being trapped by a lie. These are the sort of people who would take the last dime of a poor grand-mother and never think twice about it. These Con-men also destroy the ethics and personal character of their victims, with no more regard than if they where stealing their victims last dime. The term con-man comes from the words - confidence man. It is a person that uses lies to gain your confidence. In short they are swindlers, who use deception and persuasive speech to get people to part with their money, valuables, property, etc. Con-men usually weave their deceptions around just enough truth to make things sound good to their potential victims. They are often both polished in their appearance and personable. Their half-truths and likeability readily gain them entry to their victims wealth. By the time their victims find out that they have been swindled, it is often too late and the confidence man was long gone with their wealth. Con-men also play upon the needs and hopes of their victims in order to extract money or riches from them. For example, many prey upon the elderly who need extra income. The con-artist tells them that with wise investments, you can increase your retirement account. While it is true that with wise investments, one can increase their retirement account, the con-man has no plans to give out wise counsel. Many of these crimes go unreported, because the victim is too ashamed to tell someone. It is not only our wealth and property that are targeted by swindlers. Our ethics and good name are also prime targets. Swindlers in the business world, universities, schools, etc. will weave deceptions around the truth and destroy ethics that where once sound. As the half-truths of (no one will ever know; you can be rich; go on, you deserve it; etc.) falls on open ears and minds that are receptive to selfishness and greed. The next thing they know, they have sprung the trap on themselves. In the book of Genesis, the ultimate swindler told Eve that if she ate of the fruit that God had forbidden her and Adam to eat, that she would not surely die. The swindler continued to weave his lies around the truth, by saying to Eve that - …God had forbidden the fruit because he did not want Adam and Eve to be like him. Now God had told Adam and Eve, that to eat of the forbidden fruit would bring death, but that old serpent had planted the thought in Eve and Adamss heads that they could be more than they were. Not only that, but that God was not being honest with them by keeping something of great value from them. As it turned out, God was the one being honest. Adam and Eve where much more than they believed they where, but choose to believe that they where lesser than they where. They believed that an apple would make them better. That it would make them like God. The trap was sprung as they choose an apple over paradise. This was the first real-estate scam ever in recorded history. Dont get scammed. If anything sounds too good, it probably is and you need to examine it before you end up being trapped by a lie. In time past, when several generations lived under one house hold, you could go to your elders. But times have changed and very few house holds have members of more than one generation. Today, many victims never pray to God nor seek out advise from Godly mentors before handing over their hard earned money and valuables to swindlers both in the work place and at home. Neither do the victims pray or seek out advice from Godly mentors before compromising their character and ethics. It is critical that you know where you want to go in your life and create a plan for getting there. Then stick to your game plan. It is more difficult to fall pray to a lie, if you are sticking to a well orchestrated plan. If you dont know how to get to where you want to go or you are not sure on how to create a plan, you should seek out a good mentor or coach. But be sure to pray about it first. After you pray about it, work with a coach, a mentor, or an accountability partner - which you feel lead by God to work with. Adult Education: How Adult College Education Helps

May 9th, 2008 by carenalamothe

By Carl Mueller Adult education is a topic of interest to any adult who wonders if their current educational level is holding them back professionally. Certainly education is just one criteria that hiring companies often use to compare job candidates. As a recruiter, I can think of many cases where hiring managers and in some cases entire companies were stringent in terms of the educational requirements they were looking for in their “ideal” candidate. In some cases, I’ve seen hiring managers and companies who will not hire people who don’t meet minimum educational requirements. I’m not talking about cases where a professional certification is required either. Certainly, if a company requires a professional engineer or certified accountant, then this is usually a fairly well-understood requirement. If you don’t have the certification, you won’t get the job. I’m specifically talking about cases where a job is only available to candidates who (for example) hold a university or college degree. Not a diploma either. A university or college degree. In some cases, it doesn’t even matter what degree the person holds, it could be any degree. I’ve lost count of the number of times where a hiring manager has told me that they won’t look at candidates who dont hold a college degree. Chances are you won’t see a job description that says “don’t bother applying if you don’t have a college degree” but believe me, there are plenty of jobs you might be applying for that basically have that proviso even if it’s not explicitly stated.
